I got an a1 with such a pathetic lack of work its funny. History isn’t as bad as it seems, just have the confidence to keep writing whatever happens. If you have an aptitude for english, this will come naturally anyway.

heya OMG im so feed up of the reserch project. I spend da most of my summer holz writing it up and now im told its has too much information and its too long. So now i have to re-write my project and take out 2000 words. I can’t wait for da MTB.

I managed to get a C1 which I think was partially due to my research topic which would have gotten around full marks. My paper itself probably only barely scraped a C3 but needless to say, I’m glad that the research topic was introduced!

Leaving cert is such a dodgy exam. You could be excellent at the subject but the way a question is phrased can really throw you. I have completed my History degree and to be honest the leaving cert is the hardest exam I have ever sat so dont give up on it if you didnt do as well as you hoped.The subject is well wroth the time

yes i completely understand. i was banking on an A and only managed a B2. and again, i put in so much effort, great project etc etc but alas…and i hope to pursue history next year but now i feel totally inadequate.

i can t beleive how fucked up that history went… i worked so damn hard on that one subject! no one should ever do it for leaving certificate.. totall waste! i loved the subject, had a great teacher.. did excellent in project but still fucked up.. anyone else feel the same

god damn you history. unreliable fuck. lucky if i manage a C2. and i always thought it was my best subject. bastards.all will be revieled in less than 48hrs…shudder.
